Today is the premiere for Mecenat Touchdown. Our traditional campus tour has changed format and become a digital parallel to the visits we usually make on campus. The tour starts with a live broadcast on Instagram and the activities on campus have been replaced with exciting offers and fun competitions on the web and in mobile.
For eight years, Mecenat has started the school year with a campus tour. We have visited universities from Luleå in the north to Malmö in the south and together with our partners invited the students. This year, for obvious reasons, we have reconsidered to avoid large crowds, and Mecenat Touchdown has instead moved online.
-Mecenat’s campus tour usually attracts thousands of students who visit us at the universities, but this year we had to rethink. Together with our partners, we have built a digital event area to visit. That way, students get the chance to take a closer look at partners, their student discounts and participate in exciting competitions without having to squeeze in large groups, says Jonas Levin, CEO at Mecenat AB.
Mecenat Touchdown 2020 will be carried out on web and mobile, 1 – 16 September with competitions and offers from partners together with recurring live broadcasts on Instagram. Participating partners are Nelly, Lyko, Unionen, Fello, Boohoo and Fortum.
