Student discount at Mecenat on Dplay’s streamed offer

Mecenat and Discovery Networks Sweden have started a collaboration that gives student discounts on the streaming content at Dplay. The students can find a wide range of entertainment, sports and documentaries that are often asked for by the target group.

The collaboration between Mecenat and Dplay contains two attractive offers for the students. They can choose to try half the price for three months on the Dplay Live package, which includes both entertainment and live sports, or they can try the entire Entertainment package freely for 30 days.

-Streamed services have always been popular in the student group. When we now get a collaboration with Dplay around student discounts on their offer it comes at the right time. Now that social life doesn’t look as it used to, it’s good timing that we can broaden our offer in entertainment at home, says Jonas Levin, CEO Mecenat AB

- We are delighted to be able to offer Swedish students’ access to Dplay’s strong content in these strange times. During this winter and spring, we have loaded the service full of strong self-produced titles, such as Alla mot alla (Everybody Against Everybody), Sommaren med släkten (Summer with the kin) and Ex on the Beach Sweden. We now continue to strengthen our content with more entertainment and lots of documentaries. Hopefully, Mecenat’s users will soon be able to enjoy all the live sports available on Dplay, like Allsvenskan and Superettan, UEFA Europa League and ATP tennis, says Carl Waldenor, Marketing Director at Discovery Sweden.

The collaboration with Mecenat was launched this week and is available for students to take part in at mecenat.com/dplay
