Mecenat recruits and grows with 30 percent
Mecenat has prepared for continued growth and recruited nine new employees who will contribute with key competence in several of the organizations departments. With a constantly growing amount of partners who wants to reach the student group the demands are increasing on the sales team, marketing department and IT-development.
-More and more companies are discovering the benefits with reaching the student group and the students are using their student discounts more frequently. This last fall we reached a point where we needed to make an extensive growth of the organization to be able to keep delivering student discounts at a first class level. With these new recruits we will be well prepared for developing the business and to accommodate the rising demands both from students and partners, says Jonas Levin, CEO at Mecenat.
A strategic recruitment is Charlotte Björnemalm who in the past days took her position as sales manager. She has a broad and relevant experience and comes from, Coop Bank, where she was the manager of the field sales team. She will now take the full responsibility for Mecenat sales team. The team will increase with a few additional recruits during spring who will be working with prospects and new partners.
The marketing team has grown with three new colleagues with competence in analysis, SEO, web and graphic design so they will have the tools to sharpen the offers to both students and partner company's.
The internal IT-department increases with four people to be able to meet the demands that are made on systems and technical innovations. Expansion of the systems are taking place at the same rate as the business growth and with the student group always being at the front line of tech development, they expect Mecenat to match their needs.
With the new recruitments Mecenat now has 36 employees.
