Easy discounts make for happy students
Students love discounts that are easy and distinct. They want to be able to see how much they save on a purchase in a simple way and the less terms or limitations that are connected to the discount, the better.
Those who have used a student discount via Mecenat will shortly after their purchase have the opportunity to give feedback on their experience. This work has given us the conclusion that the student discounts need to be good, distinct and unique offers that are easy to use.
Our follow ups show us that these discounts makes the students the happiest. Most important is that the discount is the same for the entire product line and that it’s valid all year around. Another plus is if it’s easy to make out how much the actual savings will be. We find that the students are most satisfied with the catagories Sport & training and Home & leisure which have an average grade of 9 out of ten.
Except for this automated way to gather feedback from the students, we also use our own tool for surveys towards the student group. In these surveys, we can find out everything from how a campaign was received, brand knowledge or online behaviour. We share our knowledge with our partners so they can optimize their offers.
